MISSION & BELIEFS
CONNECT TO YOUR TEACHER
We hope all our families had a wonderful winter break. Parents are reminded again that if you, your child or anyone in the family have symptoms or tested positive for COVID, then please keep your child home. Please also keep your child home even if you are waiting for yours’ or a family member’s test results. It’s very important for the safety of our students and staff that we continue to take precautions.
Important dates/events this month:
Science Fair for Grades 4 to 9 will be held on Feb 16th, 17th and 18th. Students are working very hard on their projects and we’re looking forward to the Science Fair.
A Week Full of Adventures: We’re pleased to share with Grades KG to 3 parents that Gobind Sarvar will be hosting the very first time “An Adventurous Week” at school. Each day from Feb 16th to 19th will be themed.
Feb 16th – Theme of the Day – Dinosaurs
Feb 17th – Theme of the Day – Space
Feb 18th – Theme of the Day – Wonders of the World
Feb 19th – Theme of the Day – Nature
This will allow students to learn something new apart from the regular curriculum and expand their horizons. Teachers will be using a variety of ways to expose students to each day’s theme. We’re super excited and waiting eagerly for the Adventurous Week.
Please note that there is no school on Feb 11th, 12th and 15th.
Spring Break: Please note that our spring break is now from Feb 20th to March 7th. Classes will resume on Monday, March 8th after the spring break.
Thank you for your continuous support!
Gobind Sarvar Team!

You have probably heard the word ‘respect’ from
others in your life. You may even think you know
what the word means. But do you know what
respect looks like in everyday life? Let’s explore
some ways that you can show respect each day.
Having respect for someone means that you like
the way that person acts, works, or the way that
person treats you and others. Treating someone
with respect means that you interact with them in a
way that shows that you care about their well
being and how they feel. When you respect
someone, you treat them kindly and use good
manners. Sometimes it means doing things for them
or listening to their instructions. Showing respect to
others can be done in different ways. When
someone is talking to you, make sure you are
listening to what they are saying. Make good eye
contact by looking at them in their eyes when you
talk with them.
